A Community Effort Bringing Comfort and Dignity to Our Guests
At River View Hope Campus, every improvement is a reflection of compassion in action — and our brand-new pavilion is no exception! Thanks to an incredible team effort, our guests now have a shaded, welcoming space to gather, rest, and connect.
This project came to life through the generosity and teamwork of so many amazing partners. We want to give a huge shoutout to Forefront Church, Arkansas Refrigerated Services, McGahey Excavation, and the City of Fort Smith. Your dedication to this mission made all the difference.
We also want to extend special thanks to Lee Kemp, Kenneth Shelby, and Chris Joannides — your hands, hearts, and hard work were instrumental in bringing this vision to reality.
With the pavilion now complete, the unsheltered truly have shelter. Each day, we’re seeing guests relaxing at picnic tables under the shade — sharing conversations, enjoying a meal, and experiencing moments of peace and dignity right here on our campus.
This pavilion is more than just a structure; it’s a symbol of hope and community. It reminds us that when caring people come together, real change happens.
From all of us at River View Hope Campus — thank you for helping us make a difference.
