Patrick's Story
Before coming to Hope Campus, I was living on the streets. I was living in addiction, lost, never knowing when my next meal would be or where I would sleep at night. Life was hard, I felt that no one cared about me. I was isolated from my family and didn’t have many friends. One night I was arrested and then my life began to change. When I went to court the Judge told me to go to Hope Campus, that there would be people there willing to help me. When I got to Hope Campus, they had a bed for me and I remember being so excited that I finally had a bed to sleep in. I began to work with the staff at Hope Campus. They helped me get all of my vital documents, they helped me complete my drug and alcohol classes, I got a job, I got sober. After some time following their program they helped me move into my own apartment. The best thing to happen so far is that I’ve gotten to see and talk to my kids, the last time I got to see them was two years ago. I am grateful of what God is doing in my life.
