Brenda's Story
I came from Tampa Bay, FL, and my son ask me to come stay with him and help with my grandbabies here in Arkansas. However, not long into my stay with my son, I experienced an issue with my medication and had to be rushed to the hospital. My doctor advised me I had been overdosed. I was released one week before Christmas, got home and my son told me to get my stuff and get out, I had no place there anymore. Talk about a shock, and so my cousin and his wife said I could stay with them and help them with their kids, not a good decision, so I asked her to bring me to Hope Campus and I am so grateful she did. I owe so much to my case manager, Elizabeth and Hope Campus. I got my documents I needed an they helped me get into my apartment. Thank you Hope Campus!
Brenda now volunteers at our front desk. She worked on herself and those things she needed to. Brenda took full advantage of our Vital Documents Services in obtaining her birth certificate. She also utilized our Housing Solution Program and she tells us she "loves her new place". We are very proud of Brenda and we want all the best for her.
